2020-2021 Fulbright Faculty Development Program – extended deadline to December 31, 2019
The Faculty Development Program model is designed for junior faculty, currently teaching in Kosovo. Applicants should intend to return to their position at their home institution upon completion of the program, continue their teaching responsibilities, and apply newly gained knowledge and experience. The goal of the program model is to introduce participants to best practices and theoretical approaches to curriculum development in the U.S., and provide them with concrete strategies on how to develop curriculum for a course, including an overview of academic and research resources. During the program, fellows will be expected to research and develop a course description, syllabus and outline specific teaching strategies for their proposed course.
This is a joint program of the U.S. Department of State and the Government of Kosovo.
Please note: Applicants for the Fulbright Faculty Development Program in Kosovo will need to fill out the online application for Fulbright Foreign Student Program. This application is used for both the foreign student and faculty development programs.

2020 Fulbright Specialist Program Open for Submission of Project Requests
The Fulbright Specialist Program in Kosovo is open for Kosovo host institutions to submit project ideas for qualified U.S. scholars and professionals. The Fulbright Specialist Program is a part of the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. The program awards grants for projects that will last between two and six weeks. Applications must be submitted via the World Learning portal by February 28, 2020. Projects cannot begin prior to June 1, 2020 and must be completed by the end of September 30, 2021.

The 2020-2021 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) – Call for Applications
The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) provides a diverse group of emerging student leaders with a scholarship for one semester of non-degree academic study at a U.S. college or university. The program is sponsored by the U.S Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and aims to recruit participants from underrepresented, non-elite backgrounds, who have not had other opportunities to study in the United States. Successful applicants can expect an in-depth exposure to U.S. society, culture, and academic institutions, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional skills.
All participants will be enrolled in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate course work chosen from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Participants will be required to take one, 3-credit U.S. studies course to enhance their understanding of the United States. Participants will live in campus housing facilities with American peers and will be required to participate in twenty hours of community service. There will also be a virtual arrival orientation and an in-person end-of-program workshop.
