QATEK – Workshop on monitoring implementation of improvement plans was held in Ljubljana
On April 3rd and 4th, the QATEK project organized workshop on monitoring implementation of improvement plans.
The purpose of the workshop was to understand the conceptual level of project monitoring. The discussion was driven by the following guiding dimensions: (i) the evidence of improving quality of programming, (ii) the inputs that will be sustained down the road, and (iii) the evolving of new professionalism in initial teacher education.
The two day workshop concluded with a roadmap on linking project objectives to the following operational levels: (i) Input level: QA Policy approved; Instruments developed; training accomplished, (ii) Output level: Data collected, reports produced on changes needed; staff learned about topics, and (iii) Outcome level: Staff behaving differently, course reform formalized; Students experiencing a better quality classes; new student/teacher identity being produced.
