The organizers of the “International Conference on Geoscience”, held on October 10 and 11, 2019 at the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB), are gratefully acknowledged for their commitment. In a ceremony organized for the occasion, the rector, Alush Musaj, congratulated the Organizational Council on the good work they have done and on the success the conference has achieved.

Rector Musaj, said that conferences have been an extremely good experience for UMIB, for academic staff and students. “Thanks to your contribution as organizers of the conference it has gone well and has aroused the interest of many scholars who have come from different European countries and the region,” he said, adding that the conference could become traditional.

On the other hand, the Chairman of the Organizing Council, Sabri Avdullahi, thanked the Rector for the unwavering support in organizing the conference. He emphasized that the conference has been very successful and as such he has honored UMIB.

According to him, the scientific papers presented at the conference will be summarized in a separate publication. “This conference has testified to our capacity in terms of organizing a science event of European dimensions.”

The conference was organized by UMIB, the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Geological Service of Kosovo.
