UIBM will cooperate with “Leoben University” in Austria for the exchange of academic staff and students in the period 2022-2025. For this purpose, an inter-institutional agreement was signed between these two universities that are partners within the Erasmus+ program.

In the agreement which was signed by the rector of UIBM, prof. dr. Alush Musaj and Susanne Feiel, head of the Office for International Cooperation at “Leoben University”, defined the modalities of the exchange as well as the responsibilities and obligations of the parties. In the first place, the respect of the criteria of the Erasmus+ program has been defined, including the organization and management of mobility as well as the recognition of the value of loans for students from the respective universities.

The parties have agreed to respect the principles of non-discrimination as well as the promotion of opportunities for vulnerable categories of the university community. Also, the application process will be transparent, offering equal opportunities for everyone.
