The University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB) and the University of Ljubljana will implement a joint project for the exchange of academic staff within the Erasmus + program. For the details of the cooperation, a cooperation agreement was signed between these two universities, signed by the rectors, Prof. Dr. Alush Musaj and Prof. Dr. Igor Papic.

The two rectors through the cooperation agreement have expressed commitment to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects of mobility organization and management, in particular the recognition of loans (or equivalent) given to students by the partner institution.

According to the project supported by Erasmus+, 2 professors of the University of Ljubljana will be supported for exchanges at UMIB and 2 professors of UMIB in Ljubljana. Exchanges must be completed by the end of 2022.

The agreement signed by the two rectors emphasizes the details related to the exchange project as well as the responsibilities of higher education institutions located in an Erasmus + partner country. In this context, the parties agreed to fully respect the principles of non-discrimination and to ensure equal access and opportunities for participants.
