During May 2023, the American professor Prof.Dr. John McArdle from Bertolon School of Business, Salem State University, USA, stayed at the Faculty of Economics, UIBM, for three weeks.

Professor McArdle initially during the month of October 2022 was engaged in FE as a Fulbright expert for the review of study programs.

During his three-week stay in FE during May 2023, Professor McArdle has been engaged in many activities such as:

• Co-lecturer in subjects of different professors within FE.
• Guest in lectures of various professors in FE.
• Participant in numerous meetings and study visits organized by FE for students.
• Part of the collaboration of scientific papers that are in process as co-authors with some of the FE professors.
• Part of management and staff meetings where issues related to study programs, their review and others were discussed.
• He also carried out an external evaluation for one of the professors for three aspects such as teaching effectiveness, research and scholarship as well as community service.
• He gave a presentation to more than 30 UIBM students where he explained the opportunities, they have for continuing their studies at Salem State University.
• Assisted our students in completing the application for continuing their studies at Salem State University.

At the end of Professor McArdle’s stay in FE, the senior management of the two universities communicated and agreed on the conclusion of a cooperation agreement between the two institutions for the formalization of cooperation in areas such as: exchange of staff and students between the two institutions, scientific research, the organization of joint activities, bilateral study visits, and many other important aspects for the two universities.
The management of FE highly appreciates the visit and continuous cooperation with Prof.Dr. John McArdle as well as opportunities for expanding cooperation in the future.
