University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB) and University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren, they will cooperate in academic establishing direct contacts for members of departments and faculties. To this end Monday in Mitrovica was signed a cooperation agreement between the universities of UMIB’s Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Alush Musaj and Rector of the University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren, Prof. Dr. Ramë Vataj. Both rectors have considered as an important agreement, which will enable the expansion of cooperation between universities they lead. They expressed their commitment to carry out the activities needed to achieve the objectives of the agreement. Within the agreement with a total of eight points, are specified obligations have universities for the implementation of this agreement. Among other things, provided for the exchange of visits of members of the teaching and research staff, aimed at promotion of seminars, courses, conferences etc. Also planned exchange of publications, academic materials, exchange of graduate students and research staff for the purpose of attending seminars etc. At a particular point of agreement, specified that special collaborations between academic units of the two universities will be determined by separate protocols. As such, they will be signed by the representatives of their competent. The UMIB’s Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Alush Musaj, emphasized that this cooperation agreement, even as others that have been signed with universities outside the country and serious, it is of interest and benefit to the students themselves as well as university research.
