Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Economics and Melita & Partners SH.P.K.

On March 5, 2025, in the premises of the Faculty of Economics, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Faculty of Economics and Melita & Partners SH.P.K. Representing the Faculty of Economics, the signing ceremony was attended by: Prof. Assoc. Dr. Qazim Tmava, Dean, who signed the agreement, Prof. Dr. Esat Durguti, Vice Dean for Research and International Cooperation, and Prof. Ass. Dr. Filloreta Kunoviku-Demiri, Vice Dean for Teaching and Quality. On behalf of Melita & Partners SH.P.K, the agreement was signed by the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Melita Ymeraga.

This collaboration aims to strengthen the connection between academia and the private sector, contributing to the advancement of academic programs through the exchange of expertise and experiences. The agreement encompasses a wide range of areas of mutual interest for the study program, students, academic staff, and Melita & Partners SH.P.K. As part of this agreement, students will have the opportunity to: Engage in professional internships, Participate in certified training programs in accounting through QuickBooks, a globally recognized software. Benefit from guest lectures by industry experts and the organization of joint conferences. Additionally, the agreement includes a dedicated advisory component for both parties, aiming to enhance knowledge and modern practices. This collaboration represents a significant step in linking academic education with labor market demands, creating new opportunities for student professional development and strengthening institutional capacities.
