Within the objectives of “Isa Boletini” University – Mitrovica (UIBM) and “Ismail Qemali” University Vlora (UV) for the continuation of quality cooperation with institutions of higher education, this Thursday, the Rector of UV, Prof. Dr. Roland Zisi, accompanied by Deputy. Academic Rector, Prof. Asc, Frosina Londo, from Deputy. Rector for Scientific Research and Institutional Development, Prof. Enkelejd Mëhillaj, Director of Communication and Human Resources, Eloina Tozaj and Director of the Directorate of Internal Security and Quality of Projects, Rezarta Sinanaliaj, received in his office the Rector of “Isa Boletini” University, Mitrovica, Prof. Dr. Alush Musaj, accompanied by Deputy Rector for International Cooperation and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Behxhet Shala and by Prof. Ahmet Jashari, Director of the Office for Information and Communication with the Public at “Isa Boletini” University, Mitrovica.
In his welcoming speech, Rector Zisi thanked the Rector of the university “Isa Boletini, Prof. Dr. Alush Musaj, regarding the visit to UV and the interest shown to cooperate with “Ismail Qemali” university, said that he feels honored for the start of concrete cooperation with “Isa Boletini” university, Mitrovica, cooperation which, according to Zisi, will be quite fruitful for both institutions of higher education, in the framework of the common interest in expanding quality cooperation in various fields that are in the interest of the development of both universities.
Rector of “Isa Boletini” University, Mitrovica, Prof. Dr. Alush Musaj, thanking Rector Zisi for the hospitality, emphasized that it is an honor and pleasure for “Isa Boletini” Mitrovica University to cooperate with such a high-quality and serious institution of higher education, with clear objectives in terms of further academic success. , such as “Ismail Qemali” Vlora University, emphasizing that the collaborations will provide the general background to set up joint academic projects between the two universities.
At the end of the meeting, the cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities: by the Rector of the “Ismail Qemali” Vlorë University, Prof. Dr. Roland Zisi and from the Rector of the University “Isa Boletini” Mitrovica, Prof. Dr. Alush Musaj.
The cooperation between the two universities will be realized within the fields of cooperation:
1. Partnership for applications for projects in programs such as Erasmus +, Horizon Europe, etc.;
2. Exchange of academic and/or administrative staff;
3. Exchange of students from different study cycles for semester study periods or internship periods;
4. Joint research activities, conferences and publications;
5. Participation in seminars, conferences, events and academic meetings;
6. Exchange of academic materials and other necessary information;
7. Collaborations in joint study programs in all cycles;
8. Organization of summer schools for students;
9. Sharing the best practices, improving the forms and methods of organizing the teaching process, introducing the latest technologies in the teaching process;
10. Carrying out joint analyzes of materials (scientific, methodological, textbooks, educational aids, courses, lectures, etc.) in written and electronic form;
11. Invited lecturers from qualified faculties for holding lectures related to various fields of science, organizing joint seminars for improving the qualification of personnel up to 15 people in a year;
12. Exchange of experience in improving the quality management system of the institution with the use of information technologies;
13. Holding seminars/joint meetings regarding the improvement of the quality management system in the institution;
14. Development of special short-term academic programs (such as continuing education courses with a duration of up to 1 year, professional programs with a duration of 1-2 years);
15. The creation of other areas in which mutual mutual interest for cooperation has been created or will be developed.
