Isa Boletini University in Mitrovica (UIBM) and the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) will cooperate in areas of mutual interest. For this purpose, on Monday, a Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Rector of UIBM, Prof. Dr. Alush Musaj and the General Director of KAPS, Arton Berisha.

Rector Musaj thanked Director Berisha for the visit and for the willingness to cooperate as two academic institutions for the benefit of increasing the quality in both institutions. According to him, the cooperation will extend to the field of higher education, research and development, student activities and programs relevant to the community.

The Director of KAPS, Arton Berisha, expressed his satisfaction with the possibility of cooperation with UIBM. “We expect concrete results from the cooperation between our institutions, whose capacities will be at the service of our academic staff and students.”

The agreement stipulates that the cooperation will include academic exchange, inviting lectures by visiting professors, and then the provision of external evaluations for selected academic and professional activities. Also, the cooperation will include the involvement of the staff in the teaching of scientific subjects and in the evaluation commissions during the selection of the academic staff according to the needs of the parties, the cooperation in the joint development of projects between the management and the academic staff of partner institutions etc.

The agreement is signed for an indefinite period.
