Cooperation agreement with the organization “Tech for Kosovo”
The University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB), respectively the Center for Career Development (CCD) will cooperate with the organization “Teach for Kosovo” (TFK), in the field of promotion, support, empowerment and advancement of students and graduates. For this purpose, on Tuesday, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the rector, prof.dr. Alush Musaj and the executive director of TFK, Egzon Gashi.
Rector Musaj, has evaluated as a good initiative the cooperation with the organization TFK. “We are very pleased with the support you provide for the Career Development Center, which is doing a very good job for the students,” he said. While director Gashi, said that this is an important project for the preparation of new staff in the field of education. According to him, TFK will train a group of existing students or alumni selected by UMIB, in soft skills, debate development, and other similar skills at least once a semester.
Under this Memorandum, TFK undertakes to prepare and organize at least one information session per year for UMIB students within a 2-year period, to inform them about the call for applications in the fellowship program. . It is also envisaged to organize at least one focus group with students to gather information on their difficulties in career determinations, as well as for the purposes of the organization in defining the profile of the ideal teacher-leader. On the other hand, UMIB’s responsibility is to provide support in organizing information sessions for Teach For Kosovo with students, at least once a year prior to the opening of the call for applications in the fellowship program.
