Agnesa Tahiri, a student of the Faculty of Education at the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB), has won a 1-year scholarship from the State Department to study at Missouri State University (MSU). The scholarship covers all expenses, including travel expenses, on-campus accommodation, food, literature, and more.

During the two semesters, she shall attend there, the UMIB student is expected to attend lectures and exercises in the field of education, but also some subjects outside this field of study. MSU is a public university and ranked as one of the best universities in the US, with an academic year for international students costing $ 32,000.

She was very happy about this opportunity and promised that she will try to represent UMIB, but also Kosovo in the best possible way. UMIB’s Rector Alush Musaj and Dean of the Faculty of Education Merita Shala also wished her success.
