The Faculty of Law at the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica and the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw have strengthened their collaboration! This cooperation began following the signing of a memorandum of understanding, which is now being put into practice. Initially, the collaboration was realized through online lectures by professors, and now it has expanded to include the exchange of academic staff.

In the previous academic year, the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Warsaw invited the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Qerimi, as a visiting professor at their faculty. Now, in the 2024/2025 academic year, the Faculty of Law has welcomed Professor Marta Witkowska from Poland, who will be staying at the faculty as a visiting professor.

After one week of Professor Witkowska’s stay at the Faculty of Law, the faculty’s management and staff organized an introductory meeting with her.

Dean Qerimi expressed his gratitude to Professor Witkowska for her willingness and readiness to collaborate with the Faculty of Law and for her stay as a visiting professor during the 2024/2025 academic year. During the meeting, the agenda for collaboration throughout her stay at the faculty was also discussed.

Professor Zahir Çerkini from the Faculty of Law also expressed his satisfaction with the intensification of this academic collaboration between the two faculties and suggested that it be finalized with a joint project. Professor Witkowska expressed her openness to this idea and fully agreed with the proposal.

To welcome her, Liridona Hyseni, a student from the Faculty of Law, presented Professor Witkowska with a bouquet of flowers.
