The form of teaching process, the approval of permanent statutes and cooperation between universities, have been some of the topics discussed on Tuesday within the Conference of Rectors held at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, where he was also present. Rector of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, Alush Musaj. On this occasion, they congratulated the new rector of UP, Naser Sahiti, for the new task.

Regarding the organization of teaching in public universities, it was agreed that teaching take place in halls, except in cases when they are forced to organize online teaching. The rectors agreed that lectures for the first years at public universities should start on October 15th.

The Rector of the University of Gjilan “Kadri Zeka”, at the same time the chairman of the Conference of Rectors, Bajram Kosumi, said that the most important issue for them these days is the way of holding the teaching process. Despite the decision to hold the lesson in combination, he said that they are discussing the lesson to be held in the classroom and not online.

The Rector of UMIB, Alush Musaj, stressed the importance of the approval of the permanent statutes of the four universities by the Assembly of Kosovo. “Provisional statutes have become an obstacle to the development of these universities, so we expect them to be approved by the Assembly of Kosovo,” he said.
