FTU students – made a study visit to the dairy “Kabi” and “Fluidi Grup” in Gjilan
In the framework of practical learning from the subjects “Milk processing technology”, “Fermentation technology” and “Plant-derived materials”, a group of students from the Faculty of Food Technology visited “Kabi” Dairy and “Fluidi Grup” in Gjilan. On this occasion, the students were introduced to the equipment and processes in the dairy industry and closely followed the technological process for the production of yogurt.
Also, the students were introduced to the raw material, the oil extraction process and laboratory analyses. The technological process for water treatment and for obtaining juices and energy drinks was observed closely.
