“Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica is re-accredited for the 3-year period (2023-2026)
At the meeting of the State Council for Quality (KSHC), held on Tuesday (March 28, 2023), the report of international experts on the re-accreditation of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM) was approved. The approval of the decision for the re-accreditation of UMIB for the 3-year period (2023-2026) has been confirmed by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKA).
The news of re-accreditation has been welcomed by all UIBM structures. Rector prof. dr. Alush Musaj said that this is a happy day since a lot of work has been done for UIBM to consolidate and go through the accreditation processes without any problems.
On this occasion, he expressed his respect for the commitment of all the structures that have been involved in the process of institutional re-accreditation. “I want to thank and congratulate everyone who has been part of the process and who is committed to making UIBM the best it can be, starting from the Governing Council, the Senate, the vice-rectors, the deans, the academic staff, the administration, the students, the leaders of public and private companies , local and international organizations, who have been with us constantly”, said Rector Musaj.
He also highly appreciated the correct and professional approach of the director of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation, Naim Gashi, as well as all the officials of AKA. “It was an extremely well organized process with a positive climate,” he said.
Within UIBM, there are six faculties with 20 accredited programs at the bachelor’s and master’s level.
