KAA and CSC leaders visited UIBM
The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the State Quality Commission (CSC), will support higher education institutions to increase their quality, creating the necessary preconditions. This was discussed on Monday during a meeting between the leaders of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM), led by the rector, prof.dr. Alush Musaj with the director of KAA, Naim Gashi, the chairwoman of the State Quality Commission (CSC, prof. Dr. Hasnije Ilazi and the member, prof. Dr. Dukagjin Zeka.
The director of KAA, Naim Gashi, emphasized that they are making great efforts for returning to ENCA. In this context, he mentioned some important activities that are being implemented, such as the project for digitalization of KAA.
Whereas, the president of CSC, prof.ass.dr. Hasnije Ilazi, said that they are visiting universities to get acquainted with the situation and the specifics of each of them. “We are working to create some general principles for these institutions, so these meetings and discussions are part of this process,” she said.
According to her, they are currently focused on creating pillars in legal terms, such as the Law on KAA, monitoring manual, digitalization, etc. “We will cooperate and coordinate so that the accreditation process goes well.”
Rector of UIBM, prof.dr. Alush Musaj, thanked the leaders of KAA and CSC for the visit and the support provided. “Cooperation between KAA and CSC with universities is a necessity, as successes in higher education institutions are common successes,” he said.
After the meeting, the leaders of KAA and CSC accompanied by Rector Musaj, visited the university campus.
