In the premises of the Faculty of Education at UIBM, today was held a joint meeting between representatives of student groups and the coordinator of the project QATEK – Towards the Preparation of Quality Oriented Teachers in Kosovo funded by the Erasmus Plus Program, whose main purpose is to develop a culture of quality in teacher training institutions to increase their professionalism in the school system in Kosovo.

Project Coordinator for UIBM, prof.ass.dr. Merita Shala together with the Vice Dean of the faculty, Prof.ass.dr. Samire Bllaca Balaj, discussed with student representatives the document ‘Policy for improving and quality assurance in teacher training in Kosovo’, a document approved by the Council of the Faculty of Education and the Package of instruments for quality assurance, also developed in collaboration with the academic staff, the quality office at the faculty and the quality office at the University and approved by the Council of the Faculty of Education. Implementing the processes in which students are at the center and strongly contribute to the further development of these processes as well as strengthening the bridges of communication and cooperation of all actors involved in quality development in the preparation of future teachers, were the focus of joint discussions.
