Bachelor studies
All Kosovar candidates who have successfully completed high school in Kosovo or outside Kosovo and have a diploma for completed education are eligible for admission to UMIB.
In UMIB, students from other countries can also be accepted, under the same conditions of competition as candidates from Kosovo.
The selection of candidates is based on the criteria defined by the regulation for bachelor studies of UMIB and the relevant regulations of the academic units.

When applying, candidates must bring the following documents:
1. Birth certificate (original)
2. Copy of the identity card
3. Evidence – The decision by the competent body, on the recognition of the status of the martyr’s family,
4. Certificates of all high school classes (original or notarized)
6. Certification on the points obtained in the matura examination for
teaching subjects (only candidates for the faculties: Faculty of Geosciences, Faculty of Food Technology and Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering)
7. The completed application form is downloaded during the online application from the Internet: umib.net (apply online)
8. Payment of 2.5 Euros. The payment form is downloaded and printed from the website of the University of Mitrovica, while the payment is made at the bank.
9. The decision on the recognition of education abroad.

Candidates accepted for registration must submit:
The completed registration form, which deals with the registration and ID photo.
Citizen students of the Republic of Kosovo who start their studies at the University of Mitrovica have the first year of studies for free. The payment for one semester for students who are not citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will be €25 for regular studies.
Master studies
In the master’s studies at the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, candidates who have completed Bachelor’s studies or basic studies before the entry into force of the Bologna Declaration in all institutions of Higher Education in Kosovo can be accepted.

Birth certificate or extract (original);
Copy of the identity card;
Diploma – original graduation certificate of basic studies – bachelor, or notarized copy according to the original;
Evidence of accreditation of the institution of higher education (for candidates who have completed their studies abroad and in private colleges of the Republic of Kosovo);
Summary of exams given with an average grade, (only for candidates from other programs and faculties);
Payment for application at the height determined according to the UA of MEST. (The payment form is downloaded from the UMIB website);
The decision on the recognition of education abroad;
