Officials from the Ministry of Finance and the European Investment Bank have been staying at the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB), where they are interested in capital investment needs within the university campus. They were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Budget and Finance, Ajtene Avdullahi and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Scientific Research, Behxhet Shala, who informed them about the upcoming capital projects.

Vice-Rector Avdullahi said that large investments have been made inside the university campus, which have created very good working conditions for students and teachers. She called for investments related to sports and recreation facilities, which were also requested by accreditation experts.

According to her, investing in on-campus sports facilities is extremely important and necessary for the future of the University. “Your support for these projects would give the final shape to the university campus in Mitrovica,” she said, thanking officials from the Ministry of Finance and the European Investment Bank for their interest.
