From June 19 to 21, 2023, Prof.Ass.Dr. Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri from the Faculty of Economics – UIBM, was part of the study visit organized by the HERAS Plus project as a beneficiary of the Small Grants Scheme of Applied Sciences.
The study visit was aimed at increasing knowledge and inspiring grant beneficiaries, who with their small projects, have made a unique contribution to the advancement of applied science approaches in higher education in Kosovo.
The visit began with a one-day stay at the prestigious WU University of Economics and Business in Vienna. Continuing their exploration of Austrian higher education excellence, the recipients spent another day in Graz, visiting the renowned FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz (FHJ) and Karl Franzens University. Furthermore, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and developments within the HE sectors in Kosovo, the Study Visit also included visits to two well-known Austrian organizations: WUS Austria in Graz and Zentrum fur Soziale Innovation – ZSI in Vienna.
Prof. Filloreta during the visit to WUS Austria, on behalf of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, expressed gratitude for the continuous support for our university in the field of advancement, training, projects, drafting of regulations.
This study visit will serve as a catalyst for further advancements in applied science approaches at our university in the long term.
