Prof. Berat Ujkani from FIMK was part of the first training school at Kaunas University of Technology (KUT), Lithuania
Within the MultiplEYE research project, the first training school was held on April 26–28, 2023, at Kaunas University of Technology (KUT), Lithuania. Among the participants from many European universities was the head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, prof. Berat Ujkani.
The MultiplEYE project aims to foster an interdisciplinary network of research groups working on the collection of eye-tracking data from reading in multiple languages. The goal is to support the development of a large multilingual eye-tracking corpus and enable researchers to collect data by sharing their infrastructure and knowledge between different fields, including linguistics, psychology and computer science.
This collection of data can then be used to study human language processing from a psycholinguistic perspective, as well as to improve and evaluate computer language processing from a machine learning perspective.
