Within the QATEK project, on January 17-18 was organized the second session of the capacity building program in the research module in teacher training on “Data management and statistical analysis using SPSS”. The main objective of the seminar was to provide participants with basic knowledge of the SPSS program, as well as the application of data manipulation and analysis techniques to use them in a pedagogical context.

Prof. Merita Shala, QATEK project coordinator for UIBM, stressed that the professional development program of the academic staff of the Faculty of Education, for the use of statistical analysis using SPSS, increases the opportunities to directly improve the quality of preparation of new teachers, and in it at the same time increases the inclusion of the use of evidence from scientific papers in the contents of the program that prepares new teachers.

The workshop was led by professors from the University of Ljubljana, partners in the QATEK project.
