Rector of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, prof. dr. Alush Musaj, together with the professor, prof. assoc. Merita Shala and prof.assoc.dr. Ajtene Avdullahi, participated in the International Conference of the Association of Balkan Universities – BUA. BUA was founded in 2014 and currently has 87 members.

The conference entitled “Academic Cooperation, Challenges and Future Perspectives in the Balkans”, was held on September 27 and 28, in Tuzla, organized by the University of Tuzla.

Four panel discussions were held by representatives of numerous universities, members of the Association with the topics: Internationalization in Balkan Universities: Potentials and Challenges; The role of the University Network in the European Integration of the Balkans; Youth and their participation in the Balkans and migration in the Balkans: Challenges and future perspectives.

Rector Musaj, in the meetings with the counterparts of the universities participating in the conference, reinforced the readiness of cooperation of “Isa Boletini” University of Mitrovica in the development processes in higher education and contribution to other joint planning and organizations.
