UIBM and the Municipality of Mitrovica will coordinate activities related to these two institutions, in the interest of students in the first place and society in general. This was agreed during a meeting in the Municipality of Mitrovica, the mayor, Bedri Hamza and the rector of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM) prof. dr. Alush Musaj.

Mayor Hamza, said that Mitrovica as a university city is a greater opportunity for young people in the region in general. “We hope to create conditions and opportunities to increase the number of scholarships for students allocated by the municipality, as an additional incentive for our young people in terms of studies,” he said.

Rector Musaj, who in the meeting was accompanied by the Vice Rector, prof.dr. Behxhet Shala, after congratulating for the new position, thanked the mayor Hamza for the support he has given to UIBM in the past from other positions he has held. “We are encouraged by your support and willingness to cooperate in areas of common interest,” he said.
