Rector Musaj, seeks the support of MPs for the approval of permanent statutes of universities
The rectors of public universities held a meeting on Tuesday with the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science, Technology, Innovation, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Assembly of Kosovo, where the progress of online learning was discussed. The rectors also spoke about the challenges facing public universities.
Rector of the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB), Alush Musaj, spoke about the problems faced by some of the universities because they still work with temporary statutes. He stressed the need for parliamentary support for the adoption of permanent statutes.
While talking about the organization of online learning, he stressed that in UMIB everything has gone well. “We are well organized and online learning has been held regularly.”
At the meeting, the rectors praised the correct approach of the Accreditation Agency, which has been lacking before.
