Study visit to the Sapienza University of Rome
Within the ResearchCULT project, ERASMUS+, funded by the European Union, a two-day visit was made to the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Participants in this study visit were representatives of local and international higher education institutions, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science from Kosovo, including University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM), as a partner institution represented by the local coordinator of project as well as the dean of the Faculty of Education, prof. assoc. dr. Besim Gollopeni and the vice-rector for International Cooperation, prof. dr. Behxhet Shala.
This is the second study visit within the project “Improving the Research Culture in Higher Education in Kosovo”, Erasmus+, financed by the European Union and coordinated by the IBC-M College, organized at the Sapienza University of Rome. On the first day, the study visit started the project management work, in which the coordinator Bujar Gallopeni continued with the discussions related to the project activities and the current state of the project implementation. Further, the implementation, updating and challenges of WP2, led by Fiorenza Deriu, and WP3, led by Lidija Čurković, were discussed. All partners shared their reports during the presentation. In the second part of the day, the implementation and updating of WP4, WP5, WP6 and WP7 by all partners was discussed.
On the second day of the study visit, the participants held the Quality Management Board Meeting moderated by Diana Kopeva & Nikolay Sterew, where the second quality report and the final quality report were discussed. The second session was held with the project management where the next steps and preparations for ResearchCULT 2 were discussed, where the initial concept of ResearchCULT2 was presented, based on the reflections of the participants and thus concluded the proceedings of the two-day visit.
