The Faculty of Economics, within UIBM, has held a meeting with representatives of businesses and industry, with whom it has already concluded a cooperation agreement of mutual interest.
On the one hand, students will have the opportunity to be as close as possible to business, where the theoretical knowledge learned at the Faculty – University, will be able to materialize in a practical way directly in businesses, while, on the other hand, businesses will have the opportunity to identify new potential staff from the academy, but also to address their own requests in preparation of the adequate framework in accordance with business requirements.
In this consultative meeting, there was an initiative for the establishment of the Advisory Body within the unit, as an important body with an advisory character, which strengthens communication between the academic and business levels.
From all those present, the Advisory Body was unanimously elected, in this composition:
 Mr. Behxhet NIMANI, manager at the company “TREPCA”, sh.a.;
 Mrs. Vesa BROJA, co-owner in nd. “BROJA – MARKET”;
 Mr. Luan MEHMETI, owner in nd. “THE ACCOUNTANT”;
 Mr. Nehat BERISHA, manager in nd. “ART GAZI – digital printing”, as well as
 Mr. Arbër EMINI, manager in nd. “MITRO-PLAST”;

Whereas, according to the official position, part of this body are:
 Prof. Assoc. Dr. Qazim TMAVA, dean, as well as
 Prof. Assoc. Dr. Association BELLAQA, vice dean.

On this occasion, the representatives of the businesses have elected the chairman of the Advisory Body, Mrs. Vesa Broja, while the vice-chairman, Mr. MEHMETI plays. Arif KRASNIQI, PhD(s) was elected secretary.
“Such a practice of academia-business cooperation creates a new synergy, which has been very successful in the most developed universities in Europe and elsewhere” – said, among other things, the dean of the Faculty, Mr. Tmava, on this occasion, thanked the representatives of businesses for their willingness to jointly develop new programs, in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, and promised that businesses will always be involved in the academic and development processes of the Faculty of Economics , as an integral part of UIBM.
