At the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM), was held on Tuesday the scientific conference “University-Industry Collaboration”, organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. A total of 12 presentations will be presented at this conference, which is being held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Besart Hajrizi, thanked all participants in the conference, who with their work have contributed to identifying opportunities and problems in terms of collaboration between the university and industry. He expressed satisfaction that among those who have presented papers, among others, there are assistants and students, who have become part of this conference.

Whereas, the rector of UIBM, prof. dr. Alush Musaj congratulated the conference organizers and participants who presented their presentations. “UIBM, as a new institution, is concretizing the long experience in higher education as an entrepreneurial university, thus closely linking university research with market activities,” he said.

According to him, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, established two years ago at UIBM, aims to intensify research and development activities, which can serve as a solid basis for the generation of ideas and their development by young people and news of the Republic of Kosovo. In addition to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Isa Boletini University established the Industrial Board that today offers the university with industry and greatly facilitates the harmonization of industry needs for qualified staff and the preparation of the intellectual human resource by the University ”.

At the opening of the conference, a keynote address was given by Mr. Visar Idrizi from the Industrial Board, and then the presentations began.
