Two open sports fields, one separated for football and tennis and the other for basketball and volleyball, have started to be built on the premises of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM). According to the project, the sports fields will be built with asphalt and will have all the necessary equipment.

This project will be realized in two phases. For the first phase, which is planned to be carried out this year, 80 thousand euros have been allocated from the category of capital investments, while for the second phase, which will continue next year, another 80 thousand euros will be allocated.

The rector of UIBM, prof.dr. Alush Musaj, accompanied by the president of the Student Parliament, Ariona Rushiti, has inaugurated the beginning of the works for this project, which will create sports spaces for students within the university campus. “With the project for sports fields, the university campus in Mitrovica is being completed, for which we express our sincere gratitude for the help and support from local and central institutions”, he said.

The works for the construction of these sports fields will be carried out by the company “Lin Projekt”.
