Dean of the Faculty of Law at (UIBM), prof. assoc. dr. Islam Qerimi, received Alban Krasniqi – representative of Lexdoks at the meeting. Lexdoks is a smart search platform that allows users quick access to all legislation and judicial practice documents of the Republic of Kosovo, making them electronically searchable, easily accessible and suitable for citation. The Lexdoks platform makes our legal system more transparent and accessible.
The interlocutors affirmed that citizens and legal professionals of the Republic of Kosovo should operate in a democratic system with predictable rules. For this reason, with the help of artificial intelligence, it is important to digitize all legislation, court practice and other legal acts in order to make them easily searchable.
Dean Qerimi congratulates Mr. Krasniqi for the development of this smart digital platform that will serve lawyers in Kosovo, as well as students of the Faculty of Law who do research with legal writings and detailed preparation related to cases before the courts and other institutions, and in particular those in the master’s program, for which this faculty has applied. For this purpose, the representative of the Lexdoks Platform, Mr. Krasniqi, expressed his willingness to have the right to use its services free of charge for the UIBM Faculty of Law, for a period of 6 months, for which the dean expressed special thanks. .
In the end, they agreed that in the near future they will also examine the possibilities of advancing mutual cooperation, perhaps through a memorandum of cooperation.
