The Faculty of Law at UIBM Co-organizer of the Conference at the University of Tetova
On November 6, 2024, the Faculty of Law of the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica was part of the co-organization of the conference titled: “9th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Law: Law, Good Governance and Social Justice,” which was held as part of the Congress organized at the State University of Tetova.
The special conference, which was an important event within the framework of this congress, was organized by:
- Faculty of Law – State University of Tetova
- Faculty of Law – “Haxhi Zeka” University, Pejë – Kosovo
- Faculty of Law – “Kadri Zeka” University, Gjilan – Kosovo
- Faculty of Law – “Isa Boletini” University, Mitrovica – Kosovo
The event took place on November 6, 2024, at the State University of Tetova, in the Republic of North Macedonia. The ISCCS 2024 brought together an international community of experts to discuss new research findings, future development prospects, and innovative applications related to Justice, Forensics, Politics, Society, Media, Communication, and Public Relations.
The Faculty of Law of UIBM played an active role in this conference, with representatives from the faculty involved as follows:
- Dean, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Islam Qerimi – Involved in the scientific committee of the Congress, participated in a session panel, and presented a scientific paper.
- Vice Dean, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Arbnor Ajeti – Participant in a session panel and presented a scientific paper.
- Head of Department, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Besnik Murati – Participant with a presentation of a scientific paper.
- Prof. Assoc. Dr. Zahir Çerkini – Participant in a session panel and presented a scientific paper.
- Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mimoza Aliu – Participant with a presentation of a scientific paper.
- Assistant LL.M. Xhemajl Veliqi, PhD (c) – Participant with a presentation of a scientific paper.
This event represents an important step for the Faculty of Law at UIBM in strengthening international cooperation and exchanging experiences. During this period, Dean Qerimi held fruitful meetings with the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the State University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Safet Emruli, and Vice Dean Afet Mamuti, where they discussed opportunities for deepening collaboration between the law faculties.
Other meetings with legal experts from both theoretical and practical fields in the region were also held by the Dean and the academic staff of the Faculty of Law.
This close and renewed collaboration will bring mutual benefits to our faculties and will enable the development of joint projects and initiatives, as well as the deepening of academic and research relationships.
Participation in this congress was an excellent opportunity to promote the Faculty of Law at UIBM and to open new avenues for international collaboration with other prestigious academic institutions.
