The Faculty of Law organized an open lecture on combating antigypsyism and the legal protection of non-majority communities in Kosovo!

The Faculty of Law organized an open lecture for its students on the topic: “Combating Antigypsyism, Ethical Reporting, and the Legal Framework for the Protection of Non-Majority Communities in Kosovo.”

The lecture was delivered by Dr. sc. Lendrit Qeli, who discussed the topic within the framework of the project “Media Platform for Information, Awareness, and Ethical Reporting for the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian Communities.” This project is supported by the Office of the Prime Minister for Community Affairs and implemented by the Egyptian media outlet PROSPERITETI CHANNEL.

Dr. Qeli provided an in-depth analysis of the history of these communities, their social development, and integration into Kosovo’s society, as well as the challenges they face. The lecture garnered significant interest and was followed with great attention by the students of the Faculty of Law.

At the conclusion of the lecture, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Qerimi, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Qeli for his commitment and willingness to deliver this lecture to the students, and congratulated him for his contribution of over two decades in advancing non-majority communities within the society and state of Kosovo.
