The first international Workshop was held within the project “Dual Curricula – Study and Work Practice in Agriculture and Food Safety”
On 16.04.2021 was held the first international Workshop – within the project “Dual Curricula – Study and Work Practice in Agriculture and Food Safety “by Erasmus + program. Workshop was held online, participants in the workshop were the academic staff of the Alumni partner institutions of each institution, and other non-academic partners.
During this workshop, partner universities from Germany, Finland and Albania presented their experiences with dual study programs, while the University of Prishtina and University Isa Boletini in Mitrovica presented practice-oriented study experiences.
Representatives of this project from the ranks of UIBM from the Faculty of Food Technology participated were Bahtir Hyseni, Arbër Hyseni, Dafina Llugaxhiu and Shpend Doli. The representatives of FTU in this project shared with the participants the experiences about the projects already done by FTU. These projects aimed to increase capacity and practical knowledge for students. Among the mentioned projects were the “EcoDairy” project in collaboration with Van Hall Larenstein University, and the project “Isolation of Bacillus bacteria from soil samples for the production of protease enzyme from the waste of the Food Industry” funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. As an example, the student Ylberinë Baliu shared with the attendees her experiences by participating in these projects building knowledge and gaining in professional and career terms.
