Former students, students, leaders of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM), teachers, family members, etc., participated on Wednesday in the Graduation Ceremony for students who graduated in the academic year 2021/22. It has become a tradition at UIBM to jointly celebrate the graduation of students through these ceremonies for each academic year.

Addressing the attendees, the rector of UIBM, prof.dr. Alush Musaj congratulated the graduates and at the same time expressed his satisfaction that together with their families they are celebrating their success. “Of course, this is a special moment for the graduates, but it is also an emotional feeling and experience for the families and teachers, with whom you traveled together during the years you studied here.”

Rector Musaj emphasized that this is only a stage in the life of the graduates, but still very important for the future. “You already know your way around and that makes things a lot easier. We as a University are very proud of your successes as a generation and as individuals. “Looking at your achievements, we practically see the work and dedication of the teachers and what is offered to students at the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica,” he said.

UIBM students, according to him, have already become part of various international projects. He said that they have benefited from scholarships at universities all over Europe, they have benefited from experiences that they and our society need. “Being successful as individuals, we will certainly be successful as a University and society in general.”

Besnik Murat shared the good experience he had as a student at UIBM and then his successful career path with those present. The president of the Student Parliament, Ariona Rushiti, spoke on behalf of the students, while Lumnije Tahiri, director of the nursery school “Our Joy”, focused on the good cooperation she has with UIBM.

In the meantime, a video was also shown with distinguished UIBM students, who have already become success stories. Rector Musaj, accompanied by the deans of the respective faculties, distributed the certificates to the graduates, and at the very end, the hat-throwing ceremony was held in the university campus.

In the 2021/22 academic year at UIBM, a total of 350 students graduated at the bachelor’s level.
