On Tuesday, the Faculty of Geosciences held the scientific roundtable: “Challenges and opportunities of ferroalloy metallurgy in Kosovo”, where in addition to managers, teachers and students of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM) there were also managers and representatives of enterprises. various public and private in Kosovo. The scientific roundtable was held within the framework of the activities of the “Program for the Universities of Kosovo”, namely the “QAINT” project, supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MASHTI).

Prof. Zarife Bajraktari Gashi from the Faculty of Geosciences, said that the table is part of the project: “Teaching based on research”, where students, graduates, professors from the Faculty of Geosciences, the research team, professionals from “New Co “Ferroniceli” participate. Institute “Balkan Projekt”, “Sharrcem”, Fonderia E&E Gjakovë, representatives from MASHTI, professors from professional schools: “Fehmi Ladrovci”, Drenas, “Architek Sinani” in Mitrovica, high school “Hamëz Jashari”, professional school “Anton Qeta” in Skenderaj and from the University of North Macedonia. As the bearer of the research, she has thanked everyone for the presence and contribution to the table held at UIBM, wishing that the research objectives will be valuable guides and references in solving the difficulties in the ferroalloy industry.
