At the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” (UMIB), the Second International Multidisciplinary Conference “Geosciences and Sustainable Development” IMGC 2020 has begun. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the second edition of this conference is being held online.

Chairman of the Organizational Council, prof. dr. Sabri Avdullahi said that within this one-day conference, 31 participants from different countries will present their works. “In addition to Kosovo and Albania, researchers from Finland, Slovenia, Canada and Hungary will also participate in the conference.

The conference is organized by the Faculty of Geosciences at the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, while the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals and the Ministry of Economy and Environment are also co-organizers.
