On March 19 and 20, 2021, at “Ukshin Hoti” University in Prizren, the XV international interdisciplinary conference: “Comparative studies in modern society, the Balkans in the European and global context” and “IV international conference of the Balkan Sociological Forum ( BSF) with the theme “The Balkans – A comparative and integrative approach”. The conference is conducting the proceedings in a combined way, online and physically. In the conference there are a total of 223 presentations by 333 authors and co-authors from 23 countries.

The organizer of the conference is the Albanian Institute of Sociology / Albanian Sociological Association, “Ukshin Hoti” University in Prizren, “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica and many other partner institutions.

Also, within the framework of the international scientific conference, the elections of the Balkan Sociological Forum took place, where, among other things, the President was elected from Kosovo, Prof. Besim Gollopeni, sociologist, vice.
