One of the academic staff of UIBM (Ass. Bastri Zeka – FGJ) has received approval to participate in two research groups under Action COST CA20130, which will last until 2025. This Action is led by the Institute Federal Office for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) – Materials and Environment Department in Berlin – Germany.
The main goal and objective of the Action is to, in the context of research/control of Microbiologically Affected Corrosion (MIC – eng.), To encourage synergistic cooperation and communication, closing the gap between scientists and materials engineers, microbiologists, chemists, and managers to encourage sufficient interaction between academia and industry.
