Organized by the Agency for Regional Development – North (RDA-North) and the Career Development Center at the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM), training on video production with students and young people in the region began on Saturday. This training held at the University Library at UIBM, has been supported by the Municipalities of Mitrovica, Skenderaj and Vushtrri, where the participants come from.

The Director of Information and Public Communication at UIBM, Ahmet Jashari, said that such joint events with other organizations and institutions, such as this training, offer extraordinary opportunities for students and young people. “We have already established a successful tradition of cooperation with RDA-North, for the benefit of students, youth and society in general,” he said.

RDA-North Director, Rreze Duli, said that this training aims at economic empowerment of young people. “The main objectives of the training are: Vocational training to increase the skills of the workforce and professional competence and provide vocational training and their inclusion in the programs of active labor market measures,” she said.

According to her, this course is perfect for individuals who want to enter the world of professional video making, regardless of their current field of work or study. “This course is also for people who have always loved photography, video but do not know how to get started.”

Criteria to be part of this training that will last 20 hours, is the age of 18-35 years.
