On September 29 and 30, two workshops were held with UIBM academic staff on the legal rights of persons with disabilities within the project ‘Equality through education – raising awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities’, a project implemented by UIBM and funded by HERAS+.

The topic of discussion for a two-day workshop with academic staff were issues such as: the constitutional and legal rights of persons with disabilities, the challenges of the education of this category of society, UIBM and the inclusive approach to the education of persons with disabilities, and not only. The project team had fruitful discussions with the academic staff, listening to their ideas and recommendations regarding the position of Persons with Disabilities.

At the end of the second day of the workshops, the participants agreed that the final recommendations will be given on the day of the round table, as a planned event in the project that will be held this month!
