The foundations of the Faculty of Education were laid with the opening of the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, on March 6, 2013.<\/p>\n

In the academic year 2014-2015, the Faculty of Education started developing and implementing the program for the preparation of teachers for the lower cycle in the Preschool Program and the Primary Program, according to the programs accredited by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Education has gone through two (re) accreditation processes and has been evaluated by the professional team of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.<\/p>\n

Both of these programs are for four years and were accredited by the decision of KAA dated 17\/03\/2015 and were re-accredited on 01\/10\/2017 – 2021.<\/p>\n

The number of students enrolled in the Faculty of Education for the academic year 2014 – 2015 was a total of 181, 57 in the Preschool Program and 124 in the Primary Program, in the academic year 2015 – 2016 a total of 187 students were enrolled, 55 in the Preschool Program and 132 in the Primary Program, in the academic year 2016 – 2017, a total of 187 students were enrolled, 121 in the Primary Program and 66 in the Preschool Program. By 2018 – 2019, about 200 students have enrolled in the two study programs for each academic year at the Faculty of Education.<\/p>\n

Since the academic year 2014 – 2015, the Faculty of Education has organized studies according to the programs approved by the Senate of the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, based on the Bologna Declaration and (re) accredited by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.<\/p>\n

The first study programs at the Faculty of Education took place in 2013. Currently, the Faculty of Education is accredited until 2021 and offers 2 study programs at the bachelor level:<\/p>\n

– Program: Preschool Education (BA LEVEL VI, 240 ECTS)<\/p>\n

– Program: Primary Education (BA NIVELI VI, 240 ECTS)<\/p>\n

\n

The Faculty of Education cooperates with institutions in the field at the national level and beyond.<\/p>\n

For each academic year, the Faculty of Education develops pedagogical practices and practical training in educational institutions and in cooperation with local and foreign institutions organizes seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.<\/p>\n
