Allow me on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the founding of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM), to wish you this anniversary and to express my sincere respect to you. After 8 years it already seems like a whole story of a journey through challenges and successes.<\/p>\n
The university campus we have now in Mitrovica, 8 years ago seemed just a good dream. It is already a reality and for that, we are grateful to all those who have been part of our common journey.<\/p>\n
Academic life in Mitrovica has had a difficult path, but the determination and love of the people of this country for knowledge has been unbreakable. This year marks 60 years of academic life in Mitrovica, so on this occasion, we express our deepest respect for the work and commitment of all those who have been part of this journey.<\/p>\n
This story of success and sacrifice is an extraordinary motive for all of us who are part of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica. Institutional re-accreditation for 3 years and the approval of the UIBM statute, are just two of the recent good news, not forgetting the scientific conferences, projects and cooperation with universities and local and international organizations and companies.<\/p>\n
UIBM’s anniversary also coincides with a special moment in our recent history, such as the Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army. We celebrate by commemorating the sacrifice and glory of the commander, Adem Jashari and all those who fell for freedom. They are torches that keep our way lit.<\/p>\n
In this light, we enjoy the success of our students, who have distinguished themselves in studies, who have won competitions, who have become part of international projects, etc., creating a good image for our University. We also enjoy our alumni who are already part of public enterprises and private companies.<\/p>\n
On this anniversary, I want to express my deepest respect and honor to the former teachers who are no longer among us: Prof.dr. Mursel Rama, Prof.dr.Shefqet Ibrahimi and Prof.dr.Afrim Dushi.<\/p>\n
And finally, let me thank each and every one of you for your contribution to our common success. Thank you!<\/p>\n
