Today, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Islam Qerimi, enabled the students of the Faculty of Law of “Isa Boletini” Mitrovica University to participate in two criminal court hearings in order to acquire practical judicial skills in the criminal field in addition to theoretical learning and the hypothetical solution of cases. which they develop in the faculty. These hearings took place in the Basic Court of Mitrovica – Branch in Vushtrri.
\nIn addition to attending the court hearings, the students had the opportunity to be informed about the organization of the court from the moment of submission of cases by the parties, the archives and other relevant spaces for the necessary judicial development. There were also questions from the students addressed to the judge of the criminal cases tried regarding the material and procedural criminal aspects, with a special focus on the trial in absentia which is foreseen by the new Code of Criminal Procedure which has been approved and soon will come into effect.
