{"id":54876,"date":"2025-04-28T19:56:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T19:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/umib.net\/?p=54876"},"modified":"2025-04-28T19:56:09","modified_gmt":"2025-04-28T19:56:09","slug":"at-the-faculty-of-law-of-uibm-a-joint-open-lecture-was-held-in-the-subject-of-criminalistics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umib.net\/en\/at-the-faculty-of-law-of-uibm-a-joint-open-lecture-was-held-in-the-subject-of-criminalistics\/","title":{"rendered":"At the Faculty of Law of UIBM, a joint open lecture was held in the subject of Criminalistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>At the Faculty of Law of UIBM, a joint lecture was held for students attending the course \u201cCriminalistics,\u201d with the theme: &#8220;Sexual Abuse through Technology: Analysis of the Criminal Framework in Kosovo and Cyber Risks.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The co-lecturer alongside Professor Islam Qerimi, the course holder, was Ms. Greta Daci, PhD (c), from the University of G\u00f6ttingen in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Doctoral candidate Daci provided students with a detailed overview of the various forms of sexual abuse through technology, including: sextortion (online sexual blackmail); grooming (online enticement of minors); child pornography; revenge porn (non-consensual sharing of intimate materials); deepfake pornography and image manipulation; defamation; online impersonation; and doxing (distribution of personal information).<\/p>\n<p>From the legal-criminal perspective, the co-lecturers presented the provisions of the Criminal Code of Kosovo that address these offenses, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Article 182: Harassment<\/li>\n<li>Article 183: Sexual Harassment<\/li>\n<li>Article 226: Mistake of Fact Regarding the Age of the Victim<\/li>\n<li>Article 227: Rape<\/li>\n<li>Article 229: Sexual Assault<\/li>\n<li>Article 230: Degradation of Sexual Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Article 231: Offering Pornographic Material to Persons Under Sixteen<\/li>\n<li>Article 232: Child Pornography<\/li>\n<li>Article 233: Inducement to Sexual Acts through False Promise of Marriage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The students followed the joint lecture with great interest, actively engaging by asking questions, which turned the session into a dynamic and lively debate.<\/p>\n<p>Following the lecture, the Dean, together with the Faculty management and academic staff, hosted a reception for Ms. Daci in his office, where they also discussed future cooperation plans with German institutions in which Ms. Daci is involved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-54871\" src=\"http:\/\/umib.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/fjur-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"775\" height=\"581\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Faculty of Law of UIBM, a joint lecture was held for students attending the course \u201cCriminalistics,\u201d with the theme: &#8220;Sexual Abuse through Technology: Analysis of the Criminal Framework in Kosovo and Cyber Risks.&#8221; The co-lecturer alongside Professor Islam&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":54873,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[276,198],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-54876","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-law-faculty","category-law_news","entry","format-video","has-media"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.3.1 (Yoast SEO v25.3.1) -
