{"id":58396,"date":"2025-11-03T12:31:05","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T12:31:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umib.net\/?p=58396"},"modified":"2025-11-03T12:31:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T12:31:05","slug":"the-faculty-of-law-organizes-a-lecture-on-the-integration-of-generative-artificial-intelligence-in-higher-education-and-public-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umib.net\/en\/the-faculty-of-law-organizes-a-lecture-on-the-integration-of-generative-artificial-intelligence-in-higher-education-and-public-administration\/","title":{"rendered":"The Faculty of Law Organizes a Lecture on the Integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education and Public Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and to promote the use of modern technologies in teaching and scientific research, the <strong>Faculty of Law at the University of Mitrovica \u201cIsa Boletini\u201d<\/strong> is actively developing initiatives aimed at connecting legal education with the latest developments in <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> and the <strong>digitalization<\/strong> of public institutions.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, upon the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, <strong>Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi<\/strong>, a lecture titled <strong>\u201cIntegration of Generative AI in Higher Education and Public Administration: Opportunities and Challenges\u201d<\/strong> was held on <strong>November 3, 2025<\/strong>, at the premises of the Faculty of Law.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture was delivered by <strong>Dhurata Prokshi<\/strong>, a PhD candidate in <strong>Organizational Sociology<\/strong> at the <strong>Institute for Sociological and Political-Legal Research, University \u201cSs. Cyril and Methodius\u201d in Skopje<\/strong>, who shared her experience gained at the <strong>University of Warsaw<\/strong> through the <strong>Western Balkans\u2013Visegrad Fellowship<\/strong> program.<\/p>\n<p>The event aimed to follow the most advanced trends in quality assurance in education, by emphasizing the role of <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> and <strong>information technology<\/strong> in academia. The lecture addressed the role of <strong>generative AI<\/strong> and <strong>large language models (LLMs)<\/strong> in the digital transformation of public and academic institutions, highlighting their potential to improve efficiency in research and administrative processes. Ethical challenges related to the use of such technologies in the context of education and public administration in Kosovo were also discussed.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture was attended with great interest by students and academic staff, turning into an interactive and fruitful discussion.
