[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The\u00a0Faculty of Law of \u201cIsa Boletini\u201d University of Mitrovica (UIBM)<\/strong>\u00a0had the honor and academic responsibility to take part in the\u00a0co-organization of the Congress of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Arts<\/strong>, which, as in the previous year, was held at the\u00a0State University of Tetova (UT)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This congress brought together scholars, academics, and experts from various fields to discuss a topic of great importance and relevance for our region:
\n\u201cThe Process of Integration of the Western Balkan Countries into the European Union: Legal Expectations versus Political Reality.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This collaboration clearly demonstrates the commitment of the\u00a0Faculty of Law of UIBM<\/strong>\u00a0to promoting\u00a0inter-university academic cooperation<\/strong>,\u00a0exchange of ideas<\/strong>, and\u00a0the advancement of scientific research<\/strong>\u00a0that contributes to strengthening\u00a0regional and European dialogue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the opening ceremony, the\u00a0Dean of the Faculty of Law at UIBM, Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi<\/strong>, expressed that he felt privileged by the opportunity to participate in this academic forum, which brings together\u00a056 scientific papers in the field of law<\/strong>\u00a0from various faculties across the region. He emphasized that these contributions will significantly enhance\u00a0research quality<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0enrich both academic and societal debate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among other points, Prof. Dr. Qerimi stated:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis topic is essential for our region because European integration is not merely a political objective, but a profound process of legal, institutional, and social transformation. This is precisely where the role of academia becomes crucial \u2014 in the critical analysis of reforms, in fostering independent legal thought, and in shaping new generations of jurists who will lead these processes with integrity and professionalism.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Through the active participation of its\u00a0five academic staff members<\/strong>, the Faculty of Law of UIBM reaffirms its mission to\u00a0build bridges of cooperation among academic institutions<\/strong>, to\u00a0promote critical analysis of legal and political processes<\/strong>\u00a0that accompany the integration of Western Balkan countries into the European Union, and to\u00a0strengthen the role of legal science<\/strong>\u00a0in the democratic and institutional development of the region.<\/p>\n

This event further consolidates the role of\u00a0\u201cIsa Boletini\u201d University of Mitrovica<\/strong>\u00a0as a\u00a0modern center of knowledge and interdisciplinary dialogue<\/strong>, dedicated to\u00a0European values<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0sustainable academic and social development<\/strong>\u00a0of our society.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the event,\u00a0Dean Qerimi<\/strong>\u00a0expressed his\u00a0sincere gratitude<\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Safet Emruli<\/strong>, for his warm hospitality and for enabling the successful realization of this important scientific and research-oriented activity for all participants.<\/p>\n
