In a warm and academic atmosphere, the Faculty of Law at UIBM had the pleasure of welcoming the distinguished professor from the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne, Prof. Dr. Anja Schiemann, Director of the Institute of Criminal Law, who is staying at UIBM in the capacity of Visiting Professor.<\/p>\n

Her visit to UIBM is the result of the Memorandum of Cooperation concluded between the Faculty of Law of UIBM and the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne, made possible through the commitment and vision of the Dean of the Faculty of Law at UIBM, Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi, LL.M. This cooperation represents an important step toward the internationalization of legal studies and the strengthening of academic exchange between the two institutions.<\/p>\n

During her stay at UIBM, Prof. Dr. Schiemann will deliver joint lectures with Prof. Qerimi, as well as organize specialized training sessions on legal aspects related to artificial intelligence in Germany and within the framework of the European Union. These activities are expected to significantly contribute to advancing the knowledge of students and academic staff, particularly in such a dynamic and contemporary field as the intersection of law and technology.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the official reception, Dean Qerimi expressed his gratitude for her acceptance of the invitation and her willingness to share her experience and expertise with the academic community of UIBM. As a token of appreciation and respect, he presented her with a symbolic gift representing the University, expressing the wish that she will always consider herself an honorary professor of this institution.<\/p>\n

For her part, Prof. Dr. Schiemann conveyed her sincere thanks for the warm welcome and excellent organization, particularly appreciating the management, academic staff, and students for their hospitality, as well as for the words of appreciation and the bouquet of flowers presented by the Chairwoman of the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Law, Ms. Liridona Hyseni.<\/p>\n
