In this event, Professors Anja Schiemann and Islam Qerimi delivered a comparative lecture on German and Kosovar criminal procedure. The lecture covered the history, objectives, sources of criminal law, structure, and fundamental principles of criminal procedure in Germany, with a particular focus on respecting fundamental rights and balancing justice with legal security.<\/p>\n<p>In the second part, the lecture addressed criminal procedure in Kosovo, highlighting the role of the state prosecutor, principles of prosecution, and the importance of complying with legal provisions and international human rights conventions.
