Within the framework of interinstitutional cooperation with\u00a0Savonia University of Applied Sciences<\/strong>\u00a0from Finland,\u00a0three students from this university are staying for three weeks at the \u201cIsa Boletini\u201d University in Mitrovica, specifically at the Faculty of Food Technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The students were welcomed by the\u00a0Division for International Cooperation and Research<\/strong>\u00a0as well as by the\u00a0Student Office<\/strong>, which assisted them with their registration process within the framework of academic mobility. They were also received in a meeting by the\u00a0Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology, Prof. Dr. Mensur Kelmendi<\/strong>, who offered them the full support of the academic and administrative staff during their stay at the faculty.<\/p>\n

With the assistance of\u00a0assistant Gonxhe Kajtazi<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0laboratory technician Shpend Doli<\/strong>, the students were introduced to the research and laboratory infrastructure of the faculty.<\/p>\n

During this period, the students will complete their\u00a0professional internship at the Faculty of Food Technology<\/strong>\u00a0under the mentorship of\u00a0Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bahtir Hyseni<\/strong>. Their internship will be carried out in cooperation with the\u00a0IADK organization<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0HiranoMushroom factory<\/strong>, providing the students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in real professional environments.<\/p>\n

In addition, under the mentorship of\u00a0Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bahtir Hyseni<\/strong>, the students have completed a\u00a0three-day training on HPLC<\/strong>, with a focus on the reading and analysis of bioactive compounds in fermented\u00a0Kombucha tea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
